About

I’ve spent a week in the bowels of the Colosseum directing a scene covering the installation of a lift and trapdoor to elevate a wolf into the world’s most famous ampitheater. I’ve traversed a precariously narrow thousand-year-old balcony in the heights of the magnificent Hagia Sophia on the hunt for ancient Byzantine mosaics. I filmed Green Day’s lead singer as he made his Broadway debut, focused mainly on not tripping and cartwheeling onto the stage. And I’ve peppered Petra’s monuments with motion-controlled timelapse cameras capturing the moon and stars rising over the Treasury.

Most of my time is spent in the edit suite. But it’s nice to get out every now and then.

From the origins of flowers to the origins of life on earth, and from the Bible’s buried secrets to the secrets of our changing climate, I’ve worked on award-winning films that explain our world and explore our place within it.
